Your everyday life – contribute to Sweden's defense capability

We have the government's mandate to ensure that the defense has well-functioning facilities, land, and premises for its operations, and we are an important part of the country's crisis preparedness. The governance unit coordinates the authority's operational planning, follow-up, and finances and supports management through analyses and goal formulation.

As an operations controller, you will share the responsibility for planning and following up on operations. The tasks involve participating in updating the authority's operational plan and breaking it down into key figures and indicators. Throughout the year, you will follow up and summarize the situation regarding operations and present it to the management team and board. In this role, the answers are not always given or defined and often require innovative thinking. The role will also be involved in the development of the authority's processes and the unit's tasks. The pace is high, and you will take significant personal responsibility, but we help each other so that all parts of life can fit in. To thrive, you need to enjoy having many contact points and be proactive to ensure that deliveries of the right quality are completed on time.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic background in economics, accounting, political science, or another relevant university or college education for the position. It is a requirement that you have at least five years of experience working as an operations controller. You need to have very good knowledge of governance and follow-up of operations as well as strong analytical skills. It is important that you have good administrative skills and a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. Swedish citizenship and a class B driver's license are required.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a controller in public operations and in property-related or defense-related issues. Experience in working with the development and improvement of processes in governance matters is also advantageous.
